Mom's Au Gratin Hash Potatoes

1 (2 lbs) pkg frozen hash browns (small chunks)
1/2 tsp salt
1 c sour cream
2 c grated cheese
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 t. minced onion

Mix all together, place in baking dish. Top with 1 c. crushed cornflakes.  Bake for 45 minutes at 350.
